basketballThe St Louis Cardinals 7th grade basketball team travelled to Aurora last night to play the host team St. Lawrence winning 35-23.

The Cardinals came out shooting well with Kurt Seifert leading the way. Siefert drained two three point shots in the first quarter helping to give the St. Louis a 17-4 lead at the end of the quarter. Jack Aplanalp continued the good shooting in the 2nd quarter by knocking down a three point shot of his own and the Cardinals went into half up 24-7. St. Lawrence picked up their defense in the second half allowing the Cardinals only 11 points but still could not get the score within single digits and St. Louis ended up winning by the score of 35-23.
