formidable South Ripley team at home Thursday evening and came up a couple
points short when the time ran out 36-34.A very exciting game to the end that had the home team Cardinals trailing for most of the time but within reach. The team never gave up despite a lopsided turnover margin, good rebounding by the smaller Raiders and very few of the well placed shots
finding their mark. Good rebounds by Ryan Reder and a good face up defense by Cayden Pohlman helped the home team stay within striking distance.
Rebounding was led by Abe Streator along with being high scorer with 12 points. Thomas Raver had a good night rebounding as well as being the main stopper in defense and netting 10 points. Cody Mohr had 8 points along with a good rebounding night and secure ball handling against a team full of fast determined defenders. Joseph Suttman had a good defensive game not letting many shots find their mark from his side of the block. He also made the scoring column in addition to Pohlman.
