The Batesville Middle School Wrestling team lost a close dual against East Central, 56-54. Winners on the night included Paul Brewer (pin), Carson Weiler (pin), Huston Cook (pin), Gavin Britch (pin), Max Meyer (forfeit), Mason Dance (pin), Bronson Winsted (forfeit), Drake Glaub (forfeit), and Edwin Hernandez (forfeit). The Bulldogs also got wins in the exhibition round from Paul Brewer, Carson Weiler, Cruz Gribben, Edwin Hernandez, Drake Glaub, Tyler Malone, and Bronson Winsted. Match of the night honor goes to Edwin Hernandez who hit two great slide-by takedowns to secure his win in the exhibition round. The Bulldogs wrestle next at South Dearborn on Saturday.
