The Batesville JV football team lost to Lawrenceburg 8-6.
Lawrenceburg scored first on a safety on an interception by Josh Mobley. They followed that up with a touchdown to take an 8-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, Mobley scored on a 61-yard run. The Bulldogs had two chances inside the 10-yard line in the last 5 minutes to take the lead but could not cross the goal line.
The defense was led by Trent Roell, Vonley Hund, and Alex Siefert. Siefert also had a spectacular one-handed interception.
