Batesville traveled to Shelbyville Friday night to take on The Golden Bears in a double header. The Bulldogs struggled in both games to get hits losing the first game 13-1 and following up in the second game with 12-2 loss.
In the first game Whitney Axsom went 2-3 with a double and a single, and Kara Obermeyer went 1-3 with a single.
In the second game Bre Hartman lead hitting going 2-2, Madeline Cook went 1-1, and Sarah Meyer and Whitney Axsom both went 1-2.
The Bulldogs fall to 3-9 on the season. They will travel to south Dearborn on Monday to resume conference play against the Knights!
