The Batesville Bulldogs (14-0) beat the East Central Trojans 44-33 on Monday night in the Semifinals, advancing to face the Connersville Spartans on Wednesday night. Jack Grunkemeyer and Hank Ritter both added 8 points, with Carter Bohman contributing 7 and Deacon Hamilton with 6. The Championship Game will be held at Batesville and will follow the girls championship game that tips-off at 6 pm Wednesday night.
The Batesville Boys Freshman team defeated Lawrenceburg 38-30 to advance in the EIAC Tournament on Saturday the 23rd. Hank Ritter led the Bulldogs with 19 points, followed by Sam Johnson with 8 points. The Bulldogs will now face East Central in the 2nd round at Home on Monday, January 25th at 6 pm.

Congratulations to the Batesville Lady Bulldog C-Team as they won their tournament game against East Central last night at the Spartan Bowl 27-24. It was a close game all the way through and the Bulldogs held their composure and played hard to the final buzzer. They will now play in the championship game Wednesday night at 6 pm on their home court. Congratulations ladies! Leading scorers for the Dogs were Lizzy Nobbe and Renee Lecher both with 6 points and Kaylin Hinners with 5. Other scorers for Batesville were: Claire Saner-4, and Billie Puente, Alyssa Nobbe, and Madison Wanstrath each with 2. Good Luck in the championship game!
