Batesville Wrestling had their Senior Night on Tuesday honoring their 3 seniors. Those seniors include Jonathan Lamping, Tyler Schaeffer, and Jacob Weigel. Batesville hosted Greensburg. With 8 wrestlers wrestling, The Bulldogs were able to win 5 out of 8 matches wrestled but the forfeits were too much for The Bulldogs leading to a 51-28 defeat.
Tacoma Nicholas started the night off with a major victory. The other 4 victories came by pin with Alex Murphy, Tyler Schaeffer, Mason Neeley, and Jy’lil Chappell getting falls. Also competing were Jonathan Lamping, Jonathan Buschle, and Jacob Weigel. The Bulldog dual record ends at 9-22.
The Bulldogs will end their regular season competing in the EIAC Tournament Saturday at South Dearborn.
