Bulldog Harriers Semi-State Bound-Brenner Hannah Regional Champ

The Batesville Bulldogs Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams continue their season with a successful showing at The Regionals in Franklin. The Lady Bulldogs finish second and The Boys place third to qualify for The Semi-States. Greensburg Lady Pirate Brenna Hanna repeats as the Girls Regional Champion.

Center Grove captured the Girls Regional crown with Batesville second. The next three teams likewise advance to The Semi-States were Franklin, Whiteland, and Indian Creek. Greensburg was 6th, East Central 7th, Monrovia 8th, South Ripley 9th, and South Dearborn 10th.

Individually qualifying for The Semi-States were Rachel Campbell-East Central, Lanie Nicholson-South Ripley, Emily Mangels-Greensburg, and Cloey Simon-Jac-Cen-Del.

The Trojans of CG Boys team completed the clean sweep of capturing The Boys Regional title with Whiteland second, Batesville 3rd, and rounding out The Top 5 and heading Semi-State bound were Greenwood and Franklin.

Will Jefferson of Whiteland was The Boys Regional Winner. Three Bulldogs place in The Top 10 including Ean Loichlinger 3rd, Ben Moster 9th, and Adam Hollowell 10th.

Individually qualifying for The Semi-States were Tyler Kuntz-Oldenburg, Ben Riehle-Milan, Josh Pohle-Jac-Cen-Del, Grant Hensley-Lawrenceburg, and Mike Schwebach-East Central.

FranklinCentral won The Girls Regionals at Rushville with New Palestine, Mt. Vernon, Roncalli, and Centerville advancing to The Semi-States. Lauren Kelley-Franklin County individually moves on to The Semi-States individually.

The Flashes of FC Boys team completed the clean sweep of capturing The Boys Regional title with the following teams also Semi-State bound-Mt. Vernon, Greenfield-Central, Warren Central, and New Castle.
