The Batesville High School Wrestling team ended their regular season by competing in the EIAC Wrestling Tournament.
Despite having only bringing 8 wrestlers the Bulldogs were able to land 6 placers. Sophmore JT Linkel placed the highest on the team with a 4th place finish picking up a pin and a tech fall in the process. Receiving 5th place finishes were Senior Dallas Lamping with 2 wins, Sophmore Ethan Gibbs with 1 pin, and Junior Abram Garcia with a pin as well. Finishing 6th was Sophmores Mason Green picking up a pin and Nick Nobbe with 1 victory. Also competing were Sophmores Axel Garcia and Drew Grarbarini.
Next Saturday the Bulldogs travel to Franklin County for Sections to begin the state series.
