(Franklin County, IN) – U.S. 52 over Big Cedar Creek in Franklin County is scheduled to be reduced to one lane on or before Monday, April 15 for a bridge rehabilitation project.
INDOT says the work will take place just north of Cedar Grove and is expected to be complete by early November, weather permitting.
Temporary traffic signals will be used while the work is in progress.
Crews will place signs in the area prior to the start of construction.
This project is part of a $1.5 million contract awarded to the Paul H. Rohe Company in December 2023.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
