Brenda Sue Wilson, age 67, of Metamora, Indiana died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her residence in Metamora surrounded by family and friends, after a lengthy illness.
Born December 13, 1950 in Batesville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Leonard Powell Reese and Roxie (Lanning) Reese. On August 10, 1967 she was united in marriage to Paul W. Wilson, and he survives.
A homemaker, Brenda was a loving mother to her three children. In later years she became a substitute teacher at Laurel Elementary School, where she worked until becoming ill.
She was a member of the Metamora Church of God. She cherished time spent with her family and friends; and enjoyed shopping and decorating her home.
Besides Paul her loving husband of over 51 years, survivors include three children and their spouses, Kim & Dwayne Bradley, Brian & Rana Wilson, and Lisa & Todd Peters all of Metamora, Indiana; her sister, Marilyn (Kevin) Clark of Batesville, Indiana; two brothers, Jim (Diane) Reese of Blooming Grove, Indiana and Duane (Margie) Reese of Metamora, Indiana, 16 grandchildren as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, June Hull and Dorothy Phillips; three brothers, Ken, Marvin and Danny Reese; and two infant grandchildren.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Wayne Ison will officiate the Funeral Services on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 10:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville. Burial will then follow in Cupps Chapel Cemetery in Metamora, Indiana.
