Bradley “Ray” Wood

Bradley “Ray” Wood, 74, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

He was born January 22, 1947, in Senath, MO, son of the late Dennis Lee Wood.

Ray was an assistant Pastor at Hosanna Assembly of God Church, and an Evangelist. He loved to preach the word of God and minister to people. He was a great man of faith, and was very encouraging to everyone that he met.

Ray enjoyed hunting, firearms and just being outdoors. He loved mowing and yard work and he kept an immaculate yard and landscape. He enjoyed Blue Grass music as well as Gospel music. Ray was very artistic, loved to laugh, loved animals, and he loved donuts. He loved spending time with his family, he loved them more than anything, and he left a wonderful legacy of love.

Ray is survived by his loving spouse of 56 years, Barbara (Gilbert) Wood; mother, Elizabeth Wood of Columbus, OH; children, Monica Lynette (Pete) Bryk of Aurora, IN, Steven Ray Wood of Raleigh, NC, Ryan Neil (Ronda) Wood of Yuma, AZ; special friends, Pastor Randy (Dawn) Cowart of Auburn, AL, Rev. J.D. (Jane) Hostetler of Cleveland, OK; siblings, Anthony Lee (JoeAnn) Wood of St. Louisville, OH, Marie Wood Bullerdick, Debbie Wood Niles, Sondia Wood, Michele Wood Snyder, Sammy Wood, David Wood, Michael Wood, and Dennis Wood, all of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Breanna Bryk, Aaron Bryk, Olivia Bryk, Hunter (Kristen) Boyd, Justin (Nicole) Wood, Jonathan Wood, Blake Wood, Haylee (Albert) Lenerville, Hannah (Jonathan) Brooks, Dallas (Tashina) Wood; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Dennis Lee Wood; grandmother, Nannie Duke Wood; and 2 infant children.

Friends will be received Friday, November 5, 2021, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Trinity Christian Center, 18687 Pribble Road, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Services will be held at the church on Saturday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
