(Switzerland County, IN) – The Batesville Middle School golf team came out on top in a 3-way meet Tuesday evening at The Sportsman Golf Course in Switzerland County.
The Bulldogs won with an impressive team score of 157, defeating Rising Sun (175) and Switzerland County (216).
Stella Maple led the way as match medalist, firing a 37.
She was followed by Jax Negovetich, who posted a personal-best 39, and Evan Ibold, who posted a personal-best 40.
Cade Rienschield rounded out the team scoring with a 41, while Beckett Jones shot a 49.
The BMS B team also competed, finishing with a score of 193. Rowan Maple led the B team with a 43, followed by a personal-best 48 from Jarod Zins.
Deacon Fledderman added a 50, and Nathan Melon contributed a 52.
