The Batesville 8th Grade Boys Basketball team put its win streak up to six games on Tuesday night, putting together its best effort of the season thus far with a 43-31 win over North Decatur at home. Batesville trailed after six minutes of play but stormed back with a 16-5 second quarter run to change the course of the night. Levi Hunt paced the home team with 12 points and Jackson Peetz came off the bench to deliver 10 points. Scoring was rounded out by Carson Meyer with nine points and both Eli Denni and Camden Kaiser with six points. The Dogs shot 90 percent from the free throw line. Batesville (7-2) is at Greendale on Thursday.
