(Batesville, IN) – Batesville 7th grade girls basketball outlasted visiting Greensburg 29-24 in overtime Thursday night.
Kinslee Weisenbach’s buzzer beater at the end of regulation sent the game to OT. Weisenbach led the Bulldogs with 13 points.
Also getting in the scoring column for BMS were Lauren Ollier with nine points; Emma Campbell had three, and Hazel Lewis and Laney Ibold scored two points each.
Batesville coaches say the team did much better at the foul line which made a difference, and the Bulldogs played to the final buzzer each quarter.
BMS 7th goes to 10-0 and will visit Jac-Cen-Del Friday evening. Tipoff in Osgood is at 6 p.m.
