(St. Leon, IN) – B.J. Black has stepped down as East Central boys’ soccer coach after 22 seasons.
Black compiled a career record of 446 wins, 84 losses and 28 ties; one state runner-up during the 2004 season when the tournament was single class; seven regional championships, and 18 sectional titles.
“In an era where coaches come and go, your long-term commitment is seen and felt, and will be missed. We will miss you on the sideline but appreciate and celebrate what you provided to our Athletic Dept. Enjoy the next chapter of life!” wrote the East Central High School Athletic Department on social media.
