Billy E. Warren, Sr., 82, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Billy was born on April 13, 1940, in Greensburg, IN.
Billy married Lillian L. (Ledford) Warren on August 5, 1961, and she preceded him in death.
Billy worked for Mitchell Veneer and eventually went to Delta Faucet where he worked for over 30 years until his retirement in 2004. Billy enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, and NASCAR.
Billy is survived by his children: Danny (Laurie) Warren, Billy E. Warren, Jr., Annie (Joe) Wolter; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; mother, Melissa Williams; daughter, Melanie Barlowski; 2 grandchildren; and sister, Ella Joyce.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A funeral service will also be held on Monday immediately following the visitation at 1:00pm with Rev. Terry Canfield officiating. Interment will take place in South Park Cemetery.
