The BHS Marching Band will not compete, but as hosts they’ll present an exhibition performance at the end of the event.
The invitational comes on the heels of significant achievements by the BHS music department, including:
● Advancing to the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Scholastic B State Finals in 2024, where the group earned an impressive 10th-place finish in only their second year at a more competitive classification level.
● Earning the prestigious ISSMA All-Music Award last spring, one of only 22 schools statewide to receive the honor. This award recognizes excellence across all areas of music, including marching band, concert band, jazz band, choir, and solo and ensemble performances.
