BHS presents “The Sound of Music”

BATESVILLE, IN — The Batesville High School auditorium will come alive with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music” on Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30.

Doors open at 6:30 pm for the 7 pm curtain each night.

Tickets are available at the door. Adult tickets are $8.00, and student tickets are $5.00.

Patrons should enter through the back doors of the high school. The front entrance will not be open.

Over 60 Batesville Community School Corporation students are involved in this production.

The show is produced by special arrangements from Concord Theatricals.

Audience members will recognize “So Long, Farewell,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” Maria,” and “Do, Re, Mi,” plus a few songs from the Broadway production that were not included in the Academy Award-winning 1965 motion picture.

This weekend’s shows are a production of the Batesville High School Drama Club.
