Batesville shut out Franklin County 3-nil in boys varsity soccer Saturday morning in Brookville.
After a scoreless first half, RJ Sherman found the back of the net at 14:28 in the second half. The goal was set up by Griffin Koester connecting with Ryan McGuire, who fed Sherman.
McGuire scored with 3:40 remaining on an assist from Isaac Butz.
Henry Candelot rounded out the scoring with 38 seconds left in the match on an assist from Henry Hornberger.
