BHS Baseball Gets Past Walton Verona

(Batesville, IN) – Batesville got past Walton Verona 5-4 in varsity baseball on Saturday at the Dawg Pound.

William Huber drove in five runs on three hits to lead the Bulldogs’ offense.

Huber’s 3rd inning double scored three runs, and he drove in another run with an RBI single an inning later.

He also notched the win on the mound, allowing four runs (one earned) on six hits with four strikeouts and two walks.

Dane Dudley collected the save.

The Bulldogs banged out 11 hits in the game.

Dudley, Brayden Maple, and Noah Weigel each had multiple hits for BHS.

2-0 Batesville opens EIAC play this afternoon at Connersville.
