Betty Ruth Wilson, age 78, of Metamora, Indiana died Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the Waters of Rushville in Rushville, Indiana following a lengthy illness.
Born April 13, 1947 in Jackson County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Clyde & Dora (Davidson) Browning. On October 16, 1965 she was united in marriage to William H. Wilson, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2010.
A homemaker, she had attended Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle in New Castle, Indiana. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Scott (Lisa) Wilson of Harrison, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Rachael Wilson of Katy, Texas, JenDora (Todd) Gabbard of Morristown, Tennessee, Jana (Rob) Rasner of Connersville, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Gretchin Wilson of Rushville, Indiana, William Rondell (Corrine) Wilson of Middletown, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, David M. Wilson & Jason Paul Wilson; a sister, Marjorie White, two brothers, Herschel Browning & Harold Parrett; as well as a grandson, Roscoe Wilson.
Family & friends may visit from 4 till 7 P.M. on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville.
Her son-in-law, Rev. Rob Rasner, will officiate the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. She will then be laid to rest at Cupps Chapel Cemetery in Metamora.
