She often mentioned that she always wanted a big family and she got just that marrying into the Bolin family where they thought of her as a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She especially enjoyed spending time in a place that the family affectionally called “The Holler” where huge family gatherings took place every week and southern cooked meals were served.

Betty loved her family and didn’t wait for a holiday or birthday to create an event. She would often bring everyone together for a cookout or home-cooked meal and would jump at the chance to spend time with her family including her siblings. She adored and doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren and sadly will miss the birth of her twin great-granddaughters in November.

Betty loved living in Aurora and took pride in her home. She enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers and feeding the birds. She loved all animals and you would often find her sitting on her deck with a cup of coffee watching the birds, squirrels and deer in the yard.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Kenny; son Rod Bolin & wife Karen; daughter Debbie Posey & husband Greg; granddaughter Jennifer Sloan & husband Jeff; grandson Joshua; granddaughter Lora Wilson & husband Evan; grandson Elliot Posey & wife Shauna; great grandson Jordan Collins; great granddaughter Julietta Collins & Jake Peyton; great granddaughter Jackie Collins; granddaughter Josephine Sloan; sisters Gladys Caldwell & Joanne Knisley; brothers Burney Knisley, David Knisley, Alan Millington, Bernie Millington & Johnny Millington; her loving brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; plus many nieces & nephews.
