(Versailles, IN) – A staple of the Versailles community is no longer on the market.
The Bel-Air Drive-In movie theater on U.S. 421 has been sold, nearly two years after it went up for sale.
Meisberger & Associates Real Estate listed the property in December of 2023 for $795,000; it sold on November 2 for $495,000, and the new owners say they intend to keep running a drive-in theater on the property.
The 23-plus-acre site includes several large ponds, 12 to 14 acres of woodlands, two oversized pole barn garages, a 1,000-square-foot concessions building, projector room, office, and an outdoor concrete pad for picnic tables.
The Belair Drive-In is approaching its 75th year in business.
