(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Water and Gas Utility is conducting a gas leak survey in the southwest and downtown areas of the city, starting today (Monday).
Two men are walking and using a utility cart to check for undergrounds gas leaks in the streets, rights-of-ways and on customers properties up to the gas meters on the outside of homes.
The survey takes three to four days to complete, weather permitting, and is conducted annually as part of the gas utility’s maintenance plan.
