Batesville, IN — The National Honor Society is a prestigious organization comprised of high school juniors and seniors who exhibit accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service throughout their high school careers.
The National Honor Society prides itself on being a student-led organization centered on community service.
Members are required to maintain a minimum 3.81 cumulative GPA, complete twenty hours of community service per year, and participate in the organization’s many projects.
The Batesville chapter held its annual induction ceremony on October 27, 2022.
The organization currently has sixteen senior members and recently welcomed 15 junior members at its 2022 induction ceremony.
The new inductees (pictured) are Megan Allgeier, Megan Batta, Taylor Blanton, Ashlynne Hulette, Elena Kuisel, Eli Loichinger, Emiliano Lopez Andonegui, Josie Meyer, Rhea Miller, Ella Moster, Landon Oldham, Ava Pierson, Kaylie Raver, Claire Saner, and Madison Wanstrath.
Senior members include Sophia Cassidy, Ella Dieterlen, Thomas Hartman, Jenna Honnert, Emma Lomeli, Sophie Myers, Cole Pride, Megan Raab, Madison Rahschulte, Summer Ratcliffe, Elizabeth Reidy, Jaden Smith, Laney Walsman, Jackson Wanstrath, Cayman Werner, and Isabelle Westerfeld.
