Batesville rolled over Greensburg 10-0 in girls’ varsity soccer Thursday evening at the Dog Pound.

The Bulldogs set the pace in the first three minutes of the game when they scored their first goals of the night.

Pirate freshman goalkeeper saw 20 shots on goal in the first half and allowed six.

Classmate and fellow keeper Emma Hostetler started the second half and saw eight shots on goal, allowing four.

The Bulldogs’ passing game was too much for the Pirates to defend.

The game ended with the Mercy Rule after 60 minutes of play.

Greensburg falls to 3-0 overall and 0-1 in EIAC play.

The Lady Pirates travel to South Ripley next Tuesday. Kickoff is at 6 pm.
