(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville McDonald’s at 320 Cross County Plaza just off Interstate 74 will be closed this weekend for demolition and a rebuild.

The closure is set for 3 pm on Sunday, August 13.

The new Mickey Ds will have two drive-thrus and other modern amenities, and it will be similar to the one completed in Harrison, Ohio last year.

Construction is expected to take 120 days to complete, but that is dependent on the weather and if supply chain issues hamper efforts.

If all goes well, the new store will open in December.

Current Batesville store employees will be offered work at other McDonald’s locations or can file for unemployment. Management staff will work at the Lawrenceburg and Greendale restaurants.
