Batesville, IN – The Batesville JV Squad looked to grab two wins against familiar EIAC opponents this weekend. Going 1-1 on the weekend.
On Friday, the JV battled Franklin County and things seemed to click on all levels for the guys. Leading the way in the scoring column for the Bulldogs was Cole Abrams with 16 points, Levi Hunt added 10, Winston Garrett with 8, Camden Kaiser 6, Lincoln Garrett 5, and Braydin Hughes 4 points. In the end, Batesville came out on top, final score… 49-29.
Saturday was another opportunity for a win vs. Connersville and the Bulldogs were ready. They battled all game but couldn’t keep up in the second half and the game slipped away quickly. Through it all, they continued to fight. Cole Abrams capped off a solid weekend with 11 points to lead the Bulldogs again. Camden Kaiser added 8 points, Winston Garrett 4, Braydin Hughes 4, Levi Hunt 3, Preston Blessing 2, Lincoln Garrett 2. Final score, 48-34 Connersville takes the W at home.
