Batesville HS Track & Field competes at UIndy Indoor Meet

The Batesville High School track and field team started their Spring Break off with another indoor meet last Friday, competing at UIndy for a chance to qualify for the Hoosier State Relays indoor at IU in Bloomington on March 25th.

To qualify for the state meet, an athlete’s time or distance must be in the top 24 overall throughout the state, except for High Jump and Pole Vault, where you need to be in the top 18.

Right now, Batesville has many athletes falling under these marks. However, there is one more week of trials. Qualifiers for the state meet will be announced on March 18th.

Submitted by the school’s athletic department.
