The Batesville Bulldogs bounced back from a 10-point loss to defeat Connerville one day later. Batesville defeated the Spartans by a score of 45-37. An 18-point second quarter proved to be the difference. The Bulldogs held a slim 9-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and then the big second quarter extended the lead to 27-17 by halftime. The Bulldogs were held to three third-quarter points, but still led 30-23 heading into the fourth quarter.
