Batesville, IN—Overnight snowfall caused several traffic issues in Decatur and Ripley County. I-74 eastbound was shut down at exit 149 (Batesville exit) and traffic was diverted to SR 229 and SR 46 for roughly 2.5 hours while crews worked the scene of a semi rollover near the 152-mile marker that occurred a little after 4:30 am. While on the scene, crews were alerted to a secondary semi crash a mile away. Slide-offs were also reported around the New Point area of I-74. No injuries occurred and the accidents are believed to be caused by slick road conditions.
