Batesville contractor looks to spring for I-74 project

Greensburg, In. — Indiana Department of Transportation officials say a $231,864 small structure pipe lining project will be done on I-74 east of Greensburg in March of 2019.

Olco Inc. of Batesville plans to begin operations in March that will extend the service life of an existing 66-inch corrugated drainage pipe that extends 355 feet under I-74 lanes. At that time, concrete barrier wall sections will be placed along the eastbound outside shoulder of I-74 at the installation site 4.3 miles east of State Road 3.

I-74 has a traffic count of 26,110 vehicles per day.
