BATESVILLE, Ind. — Guys & Gals Quarters Salon & Day Spa is conducting a shoe drive starting on April 3rd to raise funds for the Hoosier Environmental Council.
The organization will earn funds based on the total weight of the shoes collected as Funds2Orgs will purchase all of the donated footwear.
Those dollars will be donated in memory of Corinne Lamping and will benefit the Hoosier Environmental Council.
The Council is Indiana’s leading environmental educator and advocate.
They are committed to building a cleaner, greener, and healthier Indiana for all. Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used, (even sports shoes) or new shoes.
All donated shoes will then be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of microenterprise partners in developing nations.
