The Batesville 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team was a 35-16 winner at St. Louis on Thursday night in the annual Crosstown Shootout. Batesville led by as many as 23 points in the contest and two players scored in double figures as Levi Hunt and Jackson Peetz each scored 10 points. Carson Meyer finished with six points, Winston Garrett had three points and both Liam Wagner and Eli Denni added two points apiece. Brody Mauk and Liam Moon chipped in one point each.
Batesville (2-2) is at Jac-Cen-Del on Tuesday night.
