Barry Lee Eineman, 78, of Greensburg passed on July 9, 2025. He was born as a twin on January 10, 1947 in Greensburg, a beloved son of John and June (Minning) Eineman. After coming of age, before graduating high school, Barry honorably served in the Army. Following his time in uniform, Barry built a 49 year career as a devout and respected manager and dispatcher (34 years at Sharon Brown Trucking, formerly Westerfeld Trucking and 15 years at Superior Tank and Trailer). In 1986, Barry married his cherished wife, Teresa Gunter (Westerfeld). Their marriage was a true partnership—built on love, laughter and shared memories.
Barry will be remembered for his warmth, integrity and unwavering devotion to family and friends. He took great pride in his career and was always ready to lend a helping hand or encouraging advice to those around him.
He is survived by his loving wife (Teresa), his three siblings (David Eineman, Diane Poff, and Jenny Banks), five children (Mary Jo and Casey Palmer, Scott and Amanda Eineman, John Gunter, Jennifer and Chris Meyer, Jill Gunter) 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many more extended family and friends who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and June, his brother Gary, and his twin Beverly.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at 10 am. Burial to follow at St. Paul Crossroads Cemetery in Batesville, IN. Memorial contributions can be made to your local VFW in memory of Barry.
