Barbara Sue Palmer, 68, of Sunman died Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at her residence.
Barbara was born in Lawrenceburg to Charles and Susie Day Billingsley on July 24, 1952. She worked at Nanco in Osgood for over 28 years. On November 6, 1981, Barbara married Joseph Palmer in Dearborn County. She loved playing bingo, hanging out with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, caring for her roses and planting flowers.
Barbara is survived by her husband of more than 38 years; a son: Charles Billingsley of Aurora; six grandchildren: Cassandra Billingsley, Alisha (Dylan) Taylor, Brittany Billingsley, Katie Early, Devin (Kyleigh) Billingsley,and Alexandria Billingsley; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy Billingsley; a grandson, Kasey Billingsley; two great-grandsons: Joshua Brabender and Noah Bills.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home ~ 107 Vine Street in Sunman. Pastor Joseph Hart of the Bible Baptist Church in Greendale will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sunman. Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice of a charity.
