GREENSBURG, Ind. — The Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County along with Main Street Greensburg are seeking an artist or team of artists to design and paint two murals in downtown Greensburg.
These murals complete the full project of three art installations, four new benches, eleven trash/recycling containers, and nine wayfinding signs, as part of Greensburg’s Distinctive Place project.
The project started earlier in the year with a crowd funding campaign.
The goal was to raise $32,500 by the deadline so that the project could receive matching funds from the CreatINg Places program.
Artists may submit for one or both mural locations, however, each submission will be reviewed independently.
The application deadline is April 15, and the selected artists will be announced on May 15.
