Arlie Turner, 60, of Aurora passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville. Arlie was born on Saturday, December 31, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois; son of Paul and Gracie (Eversole) Turner. Arlie worked for the US shoe factory in Osgood and recently for Batesville Tool and Die as a press operator. He loved going to Tennessee, seeing the beautiful scenery of the mountains. He also enjoyed antiquing, going to yard sales, and listening to classic country music. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his family.
Arlie will be missed by his daughter Kristina “Kristy” Turner (Teddy Pursifull) of Milan; grandchildren Austin and Ashley Turner both of Milan; and Angie Rumsey of Hebron, Kentucky.
Arlie is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gracie, and sister Wilma Bates.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Arlie from 10 – 11 AM Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.
