ARI Creative Workshop Next Month

(Shelbyville, IN) –  Community leaders, artists, and residents from across the Accelerate Rural Indiana (ARI) region are invited to explore how arts and culture can strengthen local development at the Accelerate Rural Indiana: Creative Communities Workshop.

It will take place on Wednesday, March 11, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wortman Family Civic Theatre, 1416 Miller Ave. in Shelbyville.

The workshop will feature networking and refreshments, expert-led mini-sessions on building creative capacity presented by leaders from the Indiana Arts Commission and Patronicity, and a presentation and performance by Reimagining Opera for Kids.

The ARI region is made up of the cities of Batesville, Greensburg, Shelbyville, and Rushville, plus Decatur, Shelby, and Rush counties.
