Area Runners Encouraged To Join Team Batesville

Registration is now ongoing for the 2014 Team Batesville challenge in both the OneAmerica Indianapolis Mini-Marathon and Cincinnati Flying Pig events powered by P&G.

“We are happy to announce Team Batesville will be represented in both events,” said Batesville High School Principal Andy Allen.

Team Batesville membership provides runners with weekly newsletters, training advice, group training opportunities and local packet pick-up for both events.

The OneAmerica Indianapolis Mini Marathon on Sat. May 3 covers 13.1 miles through Indianapolis and Speedway Indiana and includes one lap around the race track. Interested participants may register online at [OneAmerica Indianapolis Mini Marathon website].

Indy Mini Registration made out to Batesville Community Education Foundation and return to Batesville High School c/o Andy Allen.

A price increase will occur after November 30.

The Cincinnati Flying Pig event powered by P&G on Sat. May 3 and Sunday May 4 encompass man individual and team events over various distances. Interested participants must register at [the Flying Pig website]. To register, use the code TEAMBVILLE to be included with packet pickup.

Those competing in the “Flying Pig” who wish to be a part of Team Batesville need to complete the first page of the 2013 Team Batesville registration form and return to Batesville High School c/o Andy Allen or electronically at [email protected]

“This is year four of Team Batesville and we are excited to announce many changes and new opportunities,” Allen noted.
