(Southeastern IN) – It was a rough Wednesday night when it came to weather around Southeastern Indiana.
A number of tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings were issued late last night.
In Decatur and Franklin counties, debris was reported in roadways and thousands were without electricity overnight because of downed trees and power lines.
Most of the customers affected by the outages had their service restored as of Thursday morning.
There have been no injuries reported.
However, significant damage was reported in nearby Hartsville in Bartholomew County, as well in the Rising Sun area.
The National Weather Service is expected to send teams to survey damage in areas most heavily hit.
