The Greensburg Lady Pirates and The East Central Lady Trojans qualify for The Girls Cross Country Semi-States.
The Center Grove Lady Trojans won The Regional Team Championship at Shelbyville. Greensburg placed second, Southport was third, EC finished fourth and Franklin rounded out the Top 5 teams advancing to the Semi-States. Batesville was sixth and Jac-Cen-Del 10th.
Hanna Brenna of Greensburg was The Regional Individual Champion and fellow Lady Pirate Cathy Newhart finished third. Abagail Bittner of EC also placed in The Top 10 at eighth. Individually, advancing on To The Semi-States are Elizabeth Loichinger and Haylee Harmeyer of Batesville with Top 10 finishes, Megan Cole of South Ripley placing fourth, Melinda Eckstein of Oldenburg Academy, and Emma Gausman of Batesville.
2017 Girls CC Regionals @ Shelbyville
The Franklin Grizzly Cubs won The Boys Regional team title with Center Grove, Southport, Whiteland, and Perry Meridian rounding out The Top 5 teams qualifying for The Semi-States. East Central was sixth, Batesville seventh, South Dearborn eighth, Rising Sun ninth, and Greensburg 10th.
Michael Crook of Southport was The Regional Individual Champion. Andrew White of East Central placed seventh and advances to The Semi-States. Also individually qualifying are Sam Gabbard of South Dearborn, Adam Moster of Batesville, Jacob James of Waldron, Trevor Levi of Rising Sun, and Kameron Geison of East Central.
2017 Boys CC Regionals @ Shelbyville
The Franklin Central Lady Flashes won The Girls Cross Country Regionals at Rushville. Rushville, New Palestine, Warren Central, and Greenfield Central round out The Top 5 teams moving on to The Semi-States. Franklin County was sixth.
Jenna Barker of Seton Catholic was The Regional Individual Champion. Individually qualifying for The Semi-States include Lauren Kelley of Franklin County with a seventh place finish and Katelyn Meyer of The Lady Wildcats.

Andrew Miller of Rushville and William Smith of Connersville individually advance on to The Semi-States.
