Angie M. Dwenger

Angela Marie Dwenger passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 59.  The daughter of (the late) Gary Robinson and Tania Myers, Angela was born on April 12, 1964 in Batesville, Indiana.   She graduated from JCD High School in 1982 and spent her life in the surrounding area.

Angie married her first true love, Johnny Dwenger in 1993. They spent many happy years together raising her daughters, Tara and Bridget, in the quiet countryside of Hamburg, Indiana.  Johnny passed away unexpectedly in 2008 and Angie moved into town shortly thereafter.

She enjoyed many of the simple things in life such as cooking, gardening, watching television (never missing an episode of General Hospital) and riding the UTV with her grandchildren.

Angie was passionate and loyal when it came to her family and friends.  She visited her mom almost every day to catch up on family developments.  She was in constant contact with her girls, making sure everything was okay in their lives and getting updates on the kids.  Angie loved all things relating to the grandkids…  crafting, playing games, making their favorite cookies.  She enjoyed going to their sporting events, taking them to the beach and boating on the lake.  Angie was AJ’s biggest supporter and visited him during many of his hospital stays.

Angie had a strong will and could be stubborn at times (the grandkids fondly referred to her as the “Drill Sergeant”), but she also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor.  She loved to laugh and didn’t mind if the humor came at her expense.

Angie was a stranger to no one and made friends wherever she went.  She found great pleasure sharing in the joys and easing the burdens of those around her.  She was genuinely and wholeheartedly there for the people in her life.

Angie had a few occupations over the years, but her favorite job was working as a cashier at Harmeyer’s Market, the local mom and pop grocery store.  She greeted every customer, most on a first-name basis and if she didn’t know you when you came in, she’d be sure she knew you before you left.  It was here where she met the second love of her life, Tim Livingston.

Tim and Angie lived together as life partners for more than 13 years.  They enjoyed a quiet lifestyle in the country, spending many evenings on the back porch overlooking the pond.  Tim was her knight in shining armor throughout her cancer journey.  He was by her side constantly, providing love and strength when she needed it the most.

Angie was a kind and caring person and she’ll be deeply missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tara Davis (Richard) and Bridget Bradley; her grandchildren, Cheyenne, A.J., Taylor, Makenzi and Kylie; her brother and sisters, Rae Koester (Bob), Toby Oesterling (Jim), Casey Robinson (Andy Gausman), Erin Wilson and Darin Robinson (Amiee); along with her mother, Tania Myers and her beloved partner, Tim Livingston.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 10:00am – 12:00pm with funeral service immediately following at 12:00noon all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville.  Rev. Shawn Crisman officiating. Burial will be in the Methodist Church Cemetery, Batesville.

Memorials may be given to assist in care expenses for Angie’s special needs grandson, A.J. by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
