Alice Louise Collins, 87, of Batesville, passed away June 26, 2022 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. She was born to parents Joseph and Letha (White) Grossman on August 1, 1934 in Decatur County, Indiana.
Alice enjoyed yard sales and going out to eat. She loved all animals and had birds for years. She cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Alice retired from Hill-Rom.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Earl Collins; children, Gary (Mary), Steve, Brenda (Kevin Meyer), Tim (Sandy) Collins; grandchildren, Christopher and Audrey Collins, Amanda Flint, Justin Collins, Natalie Hicks, Bridget Collins; step granddaughter, Heather Collins; and 9 great grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Elmer, Clarence, and Ernie Grossman; and sisters, Edna Chandler and Eleanor Webb.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 2:00 PM all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow immediately at Rossburg Cemetery in New Point.
