Morgantown, WV—The” Ghost from Christmas Past”, Mike Nolting, is asking for our help to bring Chrismas joy to a 94-year-old gentleman that he has gotten to know in Morgantown, his new home. Carl Schoonover, a World War II veteran is spending the holiday season in a Morgantown hospital reflecting on his life and rebuilding his strength with hopes of returning home. Schoonover is now in the Intensive Care Unit at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, battling for his life and his family would like him to receive Christmas cards to help his morale.
Mike has challenged his friends from Batesville to send Christmas cards to Carl in hopes to bring him cheer for the holiday. To read the full story, click here.
