#2 Doubles- Anna Kick and Audrey Weigel defeated Samantha Fischer and Skyler Lane
“It was a heartbreaking way to end the season, but I’m still very proud of the way the girls played and progressed throughout the season. Going undefeated in the EIAC was a big accomplishment for us, and losing just one match in the regular season shows what kind of team we were. Karsen and Macy have been such a great doubles team the past three years and I really liked our chances if we could have been able finish the match at #1 doubles. Some things you just can’t control. Those two have been such great leaders for our team and have accomplished so much over their careers. You also have to give a lot of credit to South Dearborn. They are a much improved team this year and played really well tonight, being able to win two of the three singles spots”. Bulldogs Coach Mike McKinney.
