HOUSTON – The Cincinnati Bengals earned another road win defeating the Houston Texans 22-13 Sunday afternoon.
It was a six point game when kicker Mike Nugent made a 49-yard field goal with 1:55 remaining in regulation to give the Bengals a two possession lead.
Andy Dalton tossed 24 completions for 233 yards including a red zone touchdown to Mohamed Sanu in the first quarter.
Receiver A.J. Green had 12 receptions for 121 yards matching a career-high.
The Bengals controlled the ball as the offense was on the field for 39 minutes opposed to the Texans at 20 minutes.
The defense held Houston to 184 yards passing and 64 rushing yards.
Cincinnati remains on top of the AFC North with a 7-3-1 record and the Texans fall to 5-6.
The Bengals will aim for a third consecutive win at Tampa Bay (2-9) on Sunday, November 30.
The next home game is against division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on December 7.
