Decatur County’s auditor is taking a new job as executive director for the Decatur County Community Foundation.
Tami Wenning’s last day as auditor will be Monday, according to the Greensburg Daily News.
She has held various offices at the Decatur County Courthouse for the past 15 years.
A caucus will be held next month as county Republican Party members have until the of July to name a successor. GOP Chairman Larry Meyer told the newspaper he expects around three candidates to announce their candidacy for the seat.
