Multiple reports indicate Joe Flacco will return for his 19th NFL season as backup quarterback to Joe Burrow with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2026. The 41-year-old Flacco was traded last year during the season from Cleveland to in-state and AFC North rival Cincinnati and started several games in place of Burrow, who was dealing with a turf toe injury. Both Flacco and Burrow ended up playing in the Pro Bowl. Elias Sports Bureau says it’s the first time in the 57 seasons since the AFL-NFL merger that two quarterbacks on the same team in the Pro Bowl will be on the same team at the start of the following season.
